![Jordin Sparks wants Jason Derulo to pop the question
Singer Jordin Sparks says that the untimely death of her friend and mentor Whitney Houston earlier this year made her realise boyfriend Jason Derulo could be the one she is meant to spend the rest of her life with.
The Sparkle actress has been dating ‘It Girl’ singer Jason for more than a year and they appear to be blissfully in love, recently putting on endless shows of affection while on a romantic holiday.
22-year-old Jordin admits that while she may not be ready to settle down just yet, she would like to marry Jason in the future and explains their turbulent year made her realise he’s “the one.”
“It’s not a conversation that we’re scared about,” Jordin told Us Weekly.
“Before, we both went through tragedies this year—he broke his neck and then Whitney [Houston] passed—so before it might have been a little too crazy.”
“You really see the people you love and you go, ‘I don’t want to lose you,” Jordin continued.
“So, it’s a conversation we have, but we’re not in a rush,” Sparks says about the timeline of a potential engagement, but she doesn’t want to be kept waiting too long.
